Auckland City Mission – Become Someones Angel

Posted November 7th, 2019

Auckland City Mission

In the lead up to Christmas, thousands of Aucklanders struggle to provide their families with the simple joys of Christmas. Buying presents or enjoying a Christmas meal are beyond the means of so many who, without the support of the Mission, would have nothing to share on Christmas day.

Please help make this Christmas a wonderful one for struggling Aucklanders.

Over the next three weeks we are collecting new gifts items for boys and girls. Please do not wrap the gifts. They can be dropped off to the church office where they will be collected on Monday, 25th November.

Thank you for your support and kindness, it is very much appreciated.

St George’s Dinner in Homes

Posted May 31st, 2019

The general idea:

  • Opportunity to meet people from other congregations in a small group.
  • Six to eight people make up one dinner table in homes on three different monthly occasions.
  • While we require many hosts there is no pressure to do so.
  • The host provides the meat/main dish and guest couples provide starter / salad or vegetables / dessert.
  • If not joining as a couple, invite a friend to come with you or register as a single person.

Dinner dates:
Friday 28th or Saturday 29th June
Friday 26th or Saturday 27th July
Friday 23th or Saturday 24th August

Pencil the date into your diary now!

• Your month for hosting will be confirmed ASAP after 16th June.
