I AM BECAUSE WE ARE

Relax, reconnect, and rediscover individual and collective identity in this time of deep disruption and uncertainty.

“If one member suffers, all suffer with it; if one member is honoured, all members rejoice together with it.”

1 Corinthians 12:26

“You can’t exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can’t be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality – Ubuntu – you are known for your generosity. We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole World.”

SEPTEMBER – SEASON OF CREATION SERMON SERIES

Posted August 27th, 2020

“Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all
who live in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, let the
mountains sing together for joy”
Psalm 98

To celebrate this we will be creating a space in the church that people can come to visit and spend time in worship.

  • In the church we can all build together a creative offering that reflects our love, reverence and gratitude for what God has created.
  • We invite you to be on the lookout in your daily walks for aspects of creation that delight and connect you to God. Collect and bring them for our ‘land art’ or ‘creation banner’ that we will be creating together at church for our celebration.

We will be opening the church throughout the week so that people can visit, spend time in worship and also bring your own aspects of creation you have collected during the week.

WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY   10am to NOON
TUESDAY & THURSDAY   5pm to 7pm

We welcome you to the church during the opening times next week.
Please wear a mask, we will provide hand sanitiser, implementing
social distancing and regular cleaning of the church.
