Upcoming Events

Another opportunity to 'reach out' is to invite friends and family to St George's on Friday, August 11th for the Spirituality of Music night.

We'll be celebrating the extraordinary power of music to transcend barriers of language, race, and culture and speak into the core of the human spirit and ask where is God in the music?

We've made it a ticketed affair simply so that we can get an idea of numbers as there will be drinks and nibbles provided. The cost is a suggested donation of $20 and all proceeds go to help fund a worship music project we’re working on, as well as helping towards trying to self-publish the book that Josh has written on this subject of music.

Please do not let cost be a prohibiting factor, as the main thing is that we have as many people there to enjoy the evening as possible.

Payment can be made online: 03 0104 0109844 0003, Ref: "your name" & the number of tickets you require.

You can turn up on the night with payment made by Eftpos or cash BUT paying in advance or just letting us know you intend to come, greatly helps us in the planning.

You call the office on 520 5652 or email Lisa, lisad@stgeorgesepsom.org.nz so tickets can be held in your name. Much appreciation for your interest and help in this.

The newly re-vamped Alpha videos are superb, not only as a great resource for unchurched people to explore Christianity, but as a valuable discipleship resource for people of faith.

Our hope and prayer is for as many of this church community as possible to attend this shortened course so that we can nourish and deepen our faith along with gaining a real confidence in the Alpha Course, enabling us to invite others at a later date.

Sophie Bell (who attended the Alpha Course last year) was so inspired by the new Alpha videos she felt compelled by God to be a part of leading this year, with the support of the Co-Vicars.

Could you please contact either Sophie via email sophiebell1904@gmail.com or the Office admin@stgeorgesepsom.org.nz to register interest in this enriching course.
