Fresh Beginnings this Springtime

An invitation to encounter God through Silence

Centering Prayer is a form of Christian contemplative prayer,

a practice of silence and stillness,

making ourselves available to and aware of God’s presence.

Over the season of Spring, a group will meet weekly at the church to practice

Centering Prayer and dip into silence.

All are welcome to join, no experience necessary, just turn up!

Thursdays from 13 September onwards

7:30pm at St George’s in the church.

St George's Women’s Day Out

Saturday, 10th November 2018 at Vaughan Park from 9am to 3pm

“The Colours and Textures of Life and Faith”

Explores stories and hands-on cultural and creative activities.

Speakers: Kate Berkley and Val Goold who was Pouwhakahaere (Director) of

Manukau Campus for Laidlaw College.

Cost: $45, includes morning tea, lunch and return bus. 

Bus will leave St George’s at 8.30am, arriving at Vaughan Park for a 9am start, gather by 8.15am

     Sunday Walking Group

Do you love Coffee, Walking and Conversation?

St George's have started an afternoon walking group on the first Sunday of every month.

Plenty of conversation, various walks arranged by the group organisers and a coffee stop of course.

Bring along friends and family, everyone welcome, dogs included!

Options for striders and strollers.
Non-walkers are welcome to join us at the café for a drink at 3pm.

Information on places and times are on the noticeboard in the church foyer and hall lounge room.
