DESCRIPTION:St George’s are hosting Adrienne Wood of Heartsync to come and help parents navigate teens and screens.\nAbout\nTeens are drawn to their screens like moths to a flame. They demand evermore screen-time telling us it “makes them happy” but their actions and behaviours are telling us the opposite. More teens now than ever before struggle with anxiety\, depression\, suicidality and self-harm and recent research shows there is a direct link between the time teens spend on their screens and plunging adolescent mental health. \n  \nIf you want to learn how help your teen side-step the world of sexting\, cyberbullying and gaming addiction come along to hear consultant\, Adrienne Wood\, speak on the importance of helping rangatahi manage their digital world. \n  \nCome with your questions\, your thoughts and your (well founded) fears. Come prepared to have a bit of fun too and to learn about screens together with other parents of teens. \nMake a date night out of it!
