We love being a community of all ages and we want to help our children to grow in both their knowledge of God and their experience of Him in their lives.

We offer children's programmes on Sunday mornings at the 9.00am and 10.45am services.  All children start the service in church and then go out to their age groups, before returning for communion at the end of the service.

Children aged 0-2

At the moment we don't have a dedicated programme for the youngest of our children.  But children under 3 are welcome in any of our services.  If a parent feels their child is getting unsettled, we have a room at the back of church with pre-school age toys and books, where a speaker relays the service.

At the 9.00am service, the children's programme for ages 3-11 takes place in the hall.  The format depends upon the number of children who attend each week.

At the 10.45am service, the following two programmes run:

Little Kids Church (3-5 years old)

A special programme which starts with worship songs in conjunction with Kids Church in the hall.  Then Little Kids Church have a separate session with Bible learning and play.

Kids Church (School Years 1-6)

Kids Church meets in the hall.  Following the joint worship with Little Kids Church, those of primary school age have their own session.  We start with an interactive and creative Bible teaching session with all the children together.  Then the children move into age-related groups (School Years 1-2, Years 3-4 and Years 5-6).  Throughout the sessions as a whole, we use games, discussion, prayer, Bible learning and we are seeking to introduce the children to being open to the Holy Spirit.

Mission of Light Party

This is an all-action, high-energy party celebrating the light that we run on 31st October each year.  It's aimed at primary school age children.  Please view our dedicated Mission of Light Party page for further details.

During school holidays, we give our children's leaders a well-earned break.  Instead of separate children's groups, we run at least one all-age service on holiday-time Sundays.  An all-age service means exactly that - it's a place where we worship together, with all generations present.  These services are contemporary, lively and interactive and each age group can connect with each part of the service.
