Our services cover a variety of styles. Some use liturgy, silence, and a mix of modern songs and older hymns.
We also have a monthly Gathering for praise, worship and prayer ministry, a monthly Youth service and the Oasis Alt-Worship service approximately monthly.
Community Life - Youth
St George’s Youth
It’s an exciting time to be part of St G’s youth – we’ve got plenty going on; some of it we’ve been doing for yonks and some of it is brand spanking new! Whether you’re looking for a positive place to meet and hang out with some young people, somewhere to learn more about God and life and stuff or maybe a chance to get your hands a little dirty with service projects in your local community – we’ve certainly got something for you! Come as you are and be a part of St G’s youth.
Sunday Mornings:
Every Sunday during both morning services we meet, learn about God’s word, how it applies to and can transform our lives! The 9:00am Service has an all age group and 10:45am has three separate age groups: yrs 7&8, yrs 9&10 and yrs 11-13.
Social Stuff:
Once a term we have an epic all in youth social for yrs7-13. It changes each term and whether we’re doing a car rally out to the hot pools or whatever the event might be you can know it is a heap of fun! As well as this any given weekend we’re bound to have smaller youth driven socials going on for yr9-13 students. Backyard Mission:
We at St G’s think it’s important to love and care for each other (and whoever we come in contact with really...) so as a way of living out what we reckon Jesus call us to do once a month we tackle a service project in the local Epsom community.
Sparx on Friday:
We have a weekly Friday program for intermediate aged kids (yr7-8) called Sparx on Friday where we hang out, eat food, have a mini lesson and play plenty of games! This is hosted in one the parent’s house and all intermediate aged kids welcome we just ask for $2 towards dinner the rest is covered!
