Sunday Worship

Our services cover a variety of styles. Some use liturgy, silence, and a mix of modern songs and older hymns.
We also have a monthly Gathering for praise, worship and prayer ministry.
Home groups are a vital part of St George’s life, offering friendship, prayer, discussion about the Bible and life, mutual care and support. A number of groups meet weekly or fortnightly according to age, interest, need or project tasks.

Creative Arts St George’s encourages talented people to use their God-given gifts in drama, dance, music and the visual arts to enhance worship and communicate the gospel. Activities so far have included special Good Friday services, short DVD clips, presentations by the ‘Conviction’ dance group, KidsChurch Christmas pageants, art installations and a full-length Easter musical. The full range of creative arts is also used in the monthly Alternative Worship services which are designed to deepen people’s relationship with God and others.
